A new addition to our Unique Art SLOO Collection from our latest collaborative project with French graffiti artist DACO. His signature geometric patterns and lines are distinctive in his interpretation of our SLOO figure. Accustomed to painting large and flat surfaces like concrete walls and canvases, it was challenging yet fun for DACO to apply his style and technique onto SLOO’s curvy form.
SLOO Graffaune by DACO is available for sale, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for enquiries.
DACO is a French artist born and living in Paris. He obtained his master's degree at the French school Beaux-Arts de Paris, a well-known institution who plays an important role in the artistic and cultural scene in France. His interest first began with Graffiti and then quickly found his fascination in abstract lettering “ WildStyle”
For more than 2 decades, he has built himself an unstructured artistic style, which soon formed his visual identity: a style that is unique and recognizable. He is accustomed to painting in secluded areas like disused factories or large walls outdoors, on different surfaces like wood, iron, metal and canvas.
DACO built his visual identity with a series of animals, named “Graffaune”, a word combining Graffiti and “Faune” (Wildlife in French). His graphic line aims for geometric styling and his animals emerge from walls to galleries all around the world: in France, Chile (Valparaiso and Santiago), Switzerland (Lausanne) Portugal (Lisboa), Spain (Barcelona), Italy (Roma), Reunion Island (Saint Leu and Saint Denis), Taiwan (Tapei) and Sri Lanka (Colombo, Kandy).
DACO floods the streets and the galleries but he also participates to many artistic collaborative projects in France and abroad.
